Google has a number of results for Bluestacks crash on Windows 10 but ALL of them pertain to systems that have been upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 which is not the case here. Restarting the PC did not fix the issue and I cannot uninstall/reinstall because nothing related to Bluestacks will run including the installer and uninstallerĮvent viewer blames kernelbase.dll, which is a system file ![]() ![]() It is just the latest version that does not run. Older versions of Bluestacks run just fine because I have ran them before. It opens as a process and immediately closes. It just opens as a process and immediately closes. Upon further investigation, I opened the Windows task manager and noticed that when I try to run Bluestacks, it opens as a process and immediately closes two seconds later. If I try to uninstall Bluestacks, the uninstaller does not run either. No matter how many times I try to open Bluestacks, it simply just does not run. Which is sufficient enough to run Bluestacks I installed the most recent version of Bluestacks and it will not run at all on my HP Envy 17 j177nr with an 8 core processor, 16 GB ram and a Nvidia 840M graphics running Windows 10.
